Step 1: To access the reporting modes on our web application, access the tracker settings. You can do this either from the tracker card or the preferences menu.
Step 2: Then in the tracker list, click edit :
Step 3: From there you will be taken to the new menu to let you alter trackers settings and change the reporting mode:
Step 4: The tracker naming and icon customization are the same as they have previously been. To adjust the reporting mode to a new frequency, simply click the icon of the mode you wish to enable:
Step 5: You will then get a pop-up window to confirm or cancel the choice:
Step 6: After confirming, the menu will adjust to the following while the platform attempts to adjust the device reporting mode:
Step 7: That is it. Please note that it may take some time for the mode switch to take place. It is advised to follow the in-app advice for making sure the device can receive the mode switch. Once completed, a push notification will be sent to confirm the switch has been made. A notification will also be sent in the event the switch fails.
What reporting modes are available?
Portable Tracker (GL300):
Performance - 5 seconds moving, 3 hours stopped
Fast - 30 seconds moving, 3 hours stopped
Normal - 60 seconds moving, 3 hours stopped
Battery Saving - 3-hour, 6-hour, 12-hour, and 24-hour set interval reporting.
Hardwired Tracker:
Performance - 5 seconds moving, 3 hours stopped
Normal - 60 seconds moving, 3 hours stopped
Interval - 1-hour, 3-hour, 6-hour, 12-hour, and 24-hour set interval reporting.
Weatherproof Asset Tracker:
Performance - 1 minute moving, 3 hours stopped
Normal - 10 minutes moving, 12 hours stopped
Power Saving - 1-hour, 3-hour, 6-hour, and 12-hour set interval reporting.
Extreme Power Saving - Every 24 hours at a scheduled time.
