The event tiles on the Activity Tab show a snapshot of past events. As your tracker moves around and completes trips, new "Activity Cards" will be displayed.
Activity Cards display information such as the address a trip started and ended at, the length of time of the trip, and the time.

Seeing previous locations of your tracker is a critical component to tracking. We have various ways to review your tracker's recent activity and previous data. Below are some of the different features we offer:

Step 1: Log in to your account on the web app: app.spytec.com.
Step 2: On the left side of the screen, scroll through the activity tab until you find the trip you'd like to review. Then hit "View in Map":
Please Note: If you're viewing the website via a mobile browser, the "Activity" tab will be hidden. Tap the arrow in the top left corner to reveal the activity tab.
Step 3: Clicking on any of the specific points on the map will display the timestamp of that point, the speed of the device, and the address of the location:
Step 4: If the activity card was a Stop, click the view in map link and the map will zoom in on that specific location; you can use the zoom tools on the bottom right to adjust the view, if necessary:
Step 5: You also have the ability to sort through your recent activity. Click on the filter icon on the far right:
Step 6: Select your settings to filter to specific activity from your tracker(s).
- Please note, the maximum number of activity cards that will show at one time is 25 cards.
- Narrowing the search by changing the date range or using the activity "type" filter will allow more points to be shown.
If you have 5 or more trackers on the web app [app.spytec.com]:
On the web app, if you have 5 or more trackers on your account, we’ve added status filters to quickly identify which trackers on the map are moving, stopped, have enough battery, or need charging.
Step 1: To view your devices using these features, simply select the filter button and then choose the checkboxes next to your desired advanced filters:
- Tracker Status: select if you are viewing devices that are moving, stopped, online or offline.
- Battery Status: select devices with a full battery (100%), Normal (20% or more), Low (less than 20%), Critically Low (5% or less), or Dead (0%).
- Charging: select if the device is currently charging or not.
- Plugged: select if the device is currently plugged in.
Step 2: Click "Show Trackers" to filter your viewed devices
Mobile App:
On the mobile app, we have various ways to review your tracker's recent activity and previous data. Below are some of the different features we offer.

Tracker History Line:
Recent Activity allows you to see the most recent data your tracker has collected. It will show the activity for the last 24 hours.
Step 1: Log in to your account on the mobile app.
Step 2: Tap on the filter icon in the top-right-hand side of the screen.
Step 3: The filters menu will pop up and you'll need to select the option 'Show tracker history lines"
Step 4: You'll also have the option to show any alerts that were triggered while the tracker was traveling. Click here to learn more about setting up alerts.
When finished choosing your preferred options, hit "Apply Filters" at the bottom of the screen to save your options and see the results on the map.
Step 5: You'll automatically be taken to the map where you can see your selected activity.
Any alerts that were triggered along the trip will also be shown on the map; click on the icons to see more information regarding the alert.
Helpful Hint: Tap on View in Time Machine to go back in time and follow the tracker as it moved along the route. Click here to learn more about Time Machine.
Activity Report:
Step 1: Log in to your account on the mobile app.
Step 2: To view your previous activity, you'll start by tapping the Activities option on the bottom of the screen.
Step 3: Your most recent activity will be displayed. You'll see the type of activity, the duration, location, and the date as well:
Step 4: To filter your activities, tap on the icon on the top right.
Step 5: The filter menu will pop up, select your preferences, and hit 'Apply.'
- This will allow you to sort through the different trips.
- If you have multiple trackers, you can also choose to look at the activity from a specific device:
Step 6: Tap on any Activity Card to display the trip or stop on the map. You can zoom in and out by pinching your fingers on the screen:

If you have 5 or more trackers on the mobile app, we have additional filtering options available:
1. While viewing your trackers on the mobile app, you will see several options on the top of the screen:
- Moving: The number of devices that are currently moving
- Stopped: The number of devices that are currently stopped
- Online: The number of devices that are currently reporting their location
- Offline: The number of devices that are not reporting their location on schedule
- Low Battery: The devices that have a battery level of 20% or less
- Critical Battery: The devices that have a battery level of 5% or less
- Dead Battery: The number of devices with a 0% battery level
- Charging: The number of devices that are currently charging
2. Tapping on one of the filters will display the devices matching that criteria on the map.
3. You may also drag up the menu from the bottom of the screen to display the devices matching your selected filter as a list.
4. Tapping one of the devices on the filtered list will zoom out to display that tracker on the map.
