If you have forgotten or otherwise need to reset your account password, you can now easily do it from the login screen of the Spytec GPS platform.
Please note: If you are using an Android device, ensure there is not a 'space' before or after your username/email, as there is a known issue that will prevent you from logging in.
Trouble logging into your account:
Step 1: Click the “Forgot Password” link on the lower portion of the login screen.
Step 2: Enter the email address that is tied to your Spytec GPS account and press 'Continue'.
Step 3: Once the email address has been submitted a verification code will be sent to the email address.
Step 4: Enter the verification code and set the new password, taking note to follow the password requirements.
Step 5: Once complete, you will be able to return to the login page and login with the new credentials.
Change your password from within your account:
If you are able to access your account, you can also change your password in your account settings.
Step 1: Log on to the web platform app.spytec.com
Step 2: Click on the menu on the top left-hand corner and select 'Preferences.
Step 3: Under the 'Accounts' tab, you'll see your current password listed. Click on 'Change' to set up a new password.
Step 4: Enter your old password, create a new password and re-enter the new password to verify what you have entered.
Step 5: When finished click 'Save' at the bottom and you will be automatically logged out of your account. Log back in to try the new password.
