Installing the Spytec GPS OBD tracker is as simple as it gets. Easy installation is one of the major advantages of the OBD tracker.
The OBD tracker plugs into the OBD port on any consumer vehicle made since 1996. This is what the OBD port will look like:
On most cars the OBD port is located to the lower left of the steering wheel, along the bottom of the dash panel.
Once the OBD port has been located, it is now time to install the unit. The OBD tracker will only plug in one way, so if it is not fitting, do not force the unit into the plug. Check to make sure the orientation is correct. Once connected the tracker will power up, drawing power from the OBD port itself, and you will see activity from the two LEDs on the tracker.
